Getting your first order is exciting. Knowing how to manage it properly is what keeps customers coming back. Here is how order management works on WebYetu from checkout to delivery.
What Happens When a Customer Orders
- The customer adds items to their cart and proceeds to checkout.
- They pay via mobile money or card through Snippe.
- Snippe confirms the payment and notifies WebYetu automatically.
- The order appears in your dashboard instantly, marked as Paid.
- You receive a notification so you can act immediately.
Viewing Your Orders
Go to Dashboard → Orders to see all incoming orders. Each order displays the customer name, items and quantities, total paid, payment status, and order date.
Order Statuses Explained
- Pending — order placed, payment not yet confirmed
- Paid — payment confirmed, ready to fulfil
- Fulfilled — you have marked the order as delivered or completed
- Cancelled — order cancelled before fulfilment
Fulfilling an Order
Once you have prepared and dispatched the order, open it in your dashboard and click Mark as Fulfilled. This keeps your records clean and shows you which orders still need action at a glance.
Tips for Smooth Order Management
- Check your dashboard daily — or enable browser notifications so you never miss an order
- For large or custom orders, contact the customer to confirm delivery details before dispatching
- Review your fulfilled orders monthly to track your sales growth
